King County detectives are continuing their collision investigation on Military Rd S. Speed and impairment are possible contributors. We are sad to share that the only involved motorist, a male in his 20's, is deceased. PSE is working to restore power

Southkingfire, @IAFF2595, and @KingCoSheriff responded out to the 36000 block of Military Road South for a high speed collision involving a power pole. Despite life saving efforts the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The fire-attack crew reports heavy smoke and a small fire from an unattended pan-on-the-stove. The fire is extinguished and the crew is checking for any fire extension while a ladder crew performs ventilation to remove the smoke from the apartment
TFD crews are arriving on scene at an apartment fire in the 1200 block of N Pearl. A separate TFD crew had been at the address in a nearby building for a medical aid call in a separate incident. That crew reports heavy smoke and one occupant evacuated from the apartment
This was a garage fire that is extinguished. A search of the structure has been completed. Crews are preparing to ventilate the structure and remove the smoke. A fire investigator has been called to determine the cause. There are no reported injuries
Tacoma fire crews are arriving on-scene of a residential structure fire in the 1100 block of East 60th Street. The first-in company is reporting a large column of smoke coming from behind the structure, they are initiating a fire attack
