App. 8:00 p.m. South Sound 911 got a call from a house in the 8800 blk of S. Sheridan Ave reporting shots fired from outside had entered the home and struck a young child. The child was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. Detectives & forensics on scene

King County detectives are continuing their collision investigation on Military Rd S. Speed and impairment are possible contributors. We are sad to share that the only involved motorist, a male in his 20's, is deceased. PSE is working to restore power

Southkingfire, @IAFF2595, and @KingCoSheriff responded out to the 36000 block of Military Road South for a high speed collision involving a power pole. Despite life saving efforts the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
@FedWayPD have confirmed that this is a hit and run. 60s year old male struck by two vehicles. One stopped, the other did not
A suspect was taken into custody around 2:45. So was a woman who said she was with him when the shooting occurred, and another witness who would not leave the scene
