The King County Sheriff’s Office says a man was hit and killed by a car while skateboarding in Burien
A sit-in at Port Angeles High School on Friday that stemmed from a fight between two students broadened to a protest of bullying on the campus. Principal Jeff Clark said protesting students disagreed with the administration’s decision to discipline a student.
A Seattle man is the second person to die near Wallace Falls this year. The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office says a woman called 911 Sunday evening to report that her husband and their dog had fallen over an embankment near the Sky Valley Lookout at middle falls.
As crews continue to progress on the Eagle Creek Fire, some of the damage to the scenic Columbia River Gorge is revealing itself. Seattle: Police are investigating after a man was shot outside a South Seattle bar Thursday night. Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 5600 block of Rainier Ave. S. When they arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center where he later died.
