Homicide Investigation - On 3/29/22 at 9:07 p.m., officers went to a shooting in the 4800 blk of S Sheridan Ave. Prior to officers arriving, a vehicle left the scene with a victim and dropped him off at a local hospital. The 42-year-old victim died from his injuries today
On December 20, 2021, 46-year-old Jason Arkell was murdered in the 1800 block of S. 93 St. Detectives identified two suspects. Today, 24-year-old Keon Simms and 27-year-old Kenneth Lamar Jr. were charged with Murder 1st & Unlawful Possession of a Firearm 2nd in this homicide
