Everett police identified the officer killed today as Dan Rocha. He is survived by his wife, two sons and his large extended family
One man is dead following a car fire at a gas station on Pacific Avenue in Tacoma. Tacoma Police responded to the scene. They've started a death investigation

TPD and TFD responded to the 7200 blk of Pacific Ave for a vehicle on fire in the parking lot. When officers arrived, they found an injured adult male next to a vehicle. Samaritans had put out the fire. The male was pronounced deceased on scene. This is now a Death Investigation

2 year agoPCSO says a handgun was used in the shooting and has been recovered. It's not clear what led up to the shooting. Deputies expect to be here investigating for several more hours.
